  When planning your trip,                                                          
  ask yourself these questions:



• Where will the baby sleep?  Is it safe and comfortable?

• Are the sheets freshly laundered with gentle detergent for baby’s skin?

• Where are you going to feed the baby?  Will the store have your preferred baby food?

• Are you going to let the baby play on the hotel room floor or would you prefer a bouncy seat or saucer?

• Did your friends or family pick up a high chair or a play pen at a yard sale for you to use while visiting? Do you know how clean it is, or how safe it is?

• Will the stroller fit in the rental car?

• How old is that crib that you’re going to use at your mom’s house?

• Is the car seat from the rental car agency up to all safety standards?  Has it been in an accident?  Is its availability guaranteed?

• Is your toddler going to use a regular toilet or do you need to bring his potty chair with you?

• How are you going to carry the car seat AND the stroller AND the pack n’ play AND the kids onto a plane?

• If the car is loaded up with all of the baby equipment, where are you going to put everything else?

• Does the crib mattress have a musty odor when you drag it up from the basement?

Be prepared.  Have everything you'll need waiting for you with fresh, clean linens.
